Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show

Located on the very farthest north end of the Strip, in between the Downtown and the busier sections of Las Vegas Blvd, the Riviera is one of the older casinos on the Strip catering to a mixed crowd of young party goers, gamblers, and even families. It’s been the setting of some iconic Hollywood hits like “Oceans 11” (the original) and Martin Scorsese’s “Casino.” Though it is an older casino it still attracts a large crowd on a regular basis and is home of Las Vegas’ “sexiest topless review” Crazy Girls. Not to be overlooked in all the excitement is the hit tribute show, Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show.

This show takes the audience back to the 60’s, when characters like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and Joey Bishop ruled Las Vegas. Sandy Hackett is the son of famed Buddy Hackett, a comedian and good friend of Frank Sinatra. The Rat Pack Show takes you through some amazing stories about the four iconic performers.

Before the show begins a number of nostalgic photos of the real Rat Pack are displayed. Once the show begins Buddy Hackett’s voice can be heard “sending” the Rat Pack back for one more show, and then the 4 entertainers perform songs interlaced with their famous humor. “I’m on a whiskey diet,” says Dean, “in one week I lost four days.” While much of the act is a blast from the past, they incorporate many current events to keep it fresh.
