Disney's The Lion King

If you’re trying to find nearly everything Las Vegas has to offer in one place than Mandalay Bay at the very southern most point of the Strip is the place for you. It is an absolutely huge property with more to offer as far as entertainment and events than any other casino on the Strip. From a giant shark reef featuring the world’s most dangerous predators to a wave pool, a score of clubs and bars, great restaurants and shopping and of course tons of gambling. Along with all of that you can catch a live rendition of the popular hit The Lion King.

The Lion King is absolutely stunning visually and follows the course of Simba through his trials and tribulations to become king of the jungle. The story starts with Simba as a cub learning from his father Mufasa how he will one day be king when the arch nemesis Scar kills Mufasa. Scar allows hyenas, lion’s natural enemy, to live at Pride Rock. Eventually Simba makes his way back to Pride Rock in order to take is rightful place as the king.

The show has a cast of over 40 actors with more than 200 puppets, amazing scenery and beautifully designed costumes. It was a Tony-award winning Broadway show.
