Going To Vegas

2000 Las Vegas Boulevard South

Roller coasters, vampires, guitars, what’s going on here? Stratosphere is the most recognizable resort on the Strip by far with its needle-like tower reaching over 1,400 feet in the air complete with roller coaster and bungee jumping on the top. Don’t be fooled by its theme park mask however, Stratosphere is all Vegas. Located at the very north end of what can be considered the Strip and visible from any point in the Vegas valley it is home of some of the most unique entertainment anywhere in the world – forget just Las Vegas.

And one show you can catch at the Stratosphere which most definitely does not “bite” is… well Bite. This is all about vampires of course, and not the old wrinkled Nesferatu fiend from your grandparents black and white reel movies, these are vamps are sexy. It almost makes you forget being bit on the neck hurts and that swallowing too much blood causes massive diarrhea. The danger is part of the appeal though. This show features scantily clad vampires dancing, singing, performing aerial feats all to a storyline narrated loosely by music from the 70’s and 80’s. It is as much a musical as it is a performance. Some of the artists include Def Leppard, AC/DC, Ozzy, and Twisted Sister. If you like vampires, or great music, or good looking women with fangs, or any combination of those things, this is the show for your.
